Barr's Music 101 has learned that the jury in the Phil
Spector trial have told the judge that they are unable to reach a verdict. The jury is split 7-5. 67 year old Phil
Spector has been on trial for the murder of Lana
Clarkson on February 3, 2003. Judge
Fidler has decided to dismiss the jury for the day, but not for good, as a few of the jurors told the judge that they need more instructions on reasonable doubt. He told them to return tomorrow at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
Fidler told the jury that it is possible that he will instruct the attorneys to
re argue portions of the case.
