1972 In Akron, Ohio a phone-in bomb threat is called in at a Jefferson Airplane concert, police cars are pelted with rocks, police respond with tear gas, Jack Casady of Airplane objects which gets him arrested. Grace Slick and Paul Kantner go to see Casady and Slick gets maced and Kantner is slammed to the floor
1990 Ritual De Lo Habitualby Jane's Addiction is released
2005 Iron Maiden is pelted with eggs in Devore, CA, during their final appearance at Ozzfest. Frontman Bruce Dickinson reportedly made negative comments about Ozzy Osbourne during the trek. After Maiden's set, Sharon Osbourne appears onstage and announces that Dickinson had "disrespected Ozzfest." Later, Iron Maiden's manager issues a statement saying the onstage sabotage of the band's final Ozzfest performance was a "premeditated and coordinated attack" orchestrated by members of the Osbourne camp
