2005 Iron Maiden is pelted with eggs in Devore, California, during their final appearance at Ozzfest. Frontman Bruce Dickinson reportedly made negative comments about Ozzy Osbourne during the trek. After Maiden's set, Sharon Osbourne appears onstage and announces that Dickinson had "disrespected Ozzfest." Later, Iron Maiden's manager issues a statement saying the onstage sabotage of the band's final Ozzfest performance was a "premeditated and coordinated attack" orchestrated by members of the Osbourne camp

That same day Federal agents raid a Charlotte, North Carolina KISS Expo, confiscating nearly three thousand bootleg DVDs
2007 Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones claims he did, in fact, inhale his late father's ashes, despite earlier statements saying he was misquoted when he made the infamous revelation in an April interview
