Led Zeppelin

It's an exciting time for us Led Zeppelin fans. Today we see the release of Zep albums on iTunes, plus a new cd called Mothership, a two cd/1 dvd release of their greatest material put together by Jimmy Page. Speaking of Page, he recently attended the Classic Rock Roll of Honour awards in central London on November 5. He revealed that he had broke his pinky finger on his left hand, saying he had taken a tumble in his garden at home. The Ahmet Ertegun show is still a go, for December 10. (Were you aware that Ertegun co-wrote The Joker, the Steve Miller Band hit?) Page told reporters that the chemistry in the band was still there. Robert Plant recently released an album with bluegrass artist Alisson Krauss called Raising Sand. It's a pretty dang good album. Plant recently said that he went into rehearsals with Led Zeppelin when he was 19, and he's a different person now, so once the one show in London is done, he's heading back to Krauss. So obviously any rumours about a new cd from Zep can be stopped here and now. The Song Remains The Same cd and DVD releases are next week, while the blu-ray and HD releases come December 11.
