1945 Kelly Groucutt of E.L.O. was born in Coseley, Staffordshire, England. Groucott died earlier this year. That same day Ron "Pigpen" McKernan of the Grateful Dead was born in San Bruno, California. McKernan died in 1973 at the age of 27
1947 Benjamin Orr of the Cars was born in Lakewood, Ohio. Orr died in 2000 at the age of 53
