1990 Billy Idol runs a stop sign while riding his motorcycle, smashing into a car, fracturing his wrist and breaks his leg
2003 John Densmore of the Doors sues Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, saying that the newly formed Doors with Stewart Copeland of the Police drumming and Ian Astbury singing was hurtful to their legacy. They eventually change their name to the Doors of the 21st Century
2003 Incubus files suit to get out of their contract with Epic Records with four albums to go
2005 Paul McCartney performs the halftime show at the Super Bowl
2007 The Very Best Of The Doobie Brothers is released
2008 After a Velvet Revolver concert in Los Angeles Scott Weiland enters a rehab clinic voluntarily
2009 Steven Adler, formerly with Guns 'N' Roses, is ordered into a rehab program. Adler was arrested in 2008 on drug charges but failed to complete his community service and was arrested for that in January 2009
