1973 The U.S. Immigration Department cancel John Lennon's visa, starting a 2 year legal battle which Lennon eventually wins
1990 Aerosmith is inducted into Hollywood’s Rock Walk on Sunset Boulevard
2000 Eric Clapton is inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame as a solo artist. It's his third time being inducted, the others as a Yardbird and a member of Cream. Bonnie Raitt is also inducted
2004 David Crosby is arrested on marijuana and gun possession charges in New York City. Crosby has served time in prison in Texas for a similar arrest
2006 On An Island by David Gilmour is released
2007 Heavern And Hell begin their world tour in Vancouver, Canada
2007 Jimi Hendrix's estate files a lawsuit against Electric Hendrix for copyright infringement. The owners of Electric Hendrix are Jimi's brother Leon and Jimi's drummer Buddy Miles. Also, that same day, Librarian of Congress adds "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones to the '06 National Recording Registry. ZZ Top begins their U.S. tour in Biloxi, Mississippi
