THE ALBUM OF THE DAY
AUGUST BURNS RED...Leveler (2011)
(CD, LP, Allmusic review)
Oh My Goodness!!! August Burns Red is a metalcore Christian band that get in your face. While listening to this record I quickly realised a few things. First, you can't understand anything the guy sings so I couldn't tell you if he was praising God or not (the lyrics are included and he does). Second, all the songs sounded the same, with the exception of "Carpe Diem" and "1/16/2011". If you're into that hardcore metal in-your-face screaming moshpit stuff go for this one. If you're not steer clear. I do like the Christian side to the record, however
