1964 The Beatles play their first concert in America in Washington, D.C.
2004 An attorney for Courtney Love tells a judge that it is because of a security issue that she cannot appear in court for a pretrial hearing concerning felony charges that she was in illegal possession of two painkillers
2006 Scott Stapp of Creed is arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport for alleged public intoxication. Stapp had gotten married the day before. The charges are later dismissed
2007 At the Grammys the Red Hot Chili Peppers win 4, including Best Rock Album ("Stadium Arcadium") and Best Rock Song ("Dani California"), Bob Dylan wins in the Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album, Bruce Springsteen wins the Best Traditional Folk Album and Best Long Form Music Video
2008 Lenny Kravitz has severe symptoms of bronchitis, therefore he is admitted to a hospital in Miami Beach, Florida
