What now for Spector

In yesterdays blog about the Phil Spector mistrial I stated that I thought the Los Angeles DA couldn't retry Spector, but I was informed today that yes they could simply because he wasn't found guilty or not guilty. There will be a hearing Rocktober 3 where the district attorney will ask permission to retry Spector. Spector has more troubles in front of him when you stop and think about it. Going through a trial is emotionally and physically draining, now he might have to do it again. Can he afford it? I'm sure his bank account has suffered greatly these past 4 years. Most folks feel like he is guilty so his 'celebrity' has suffered. But he was always thought of as essentric so his reputation was already tarnished anyway. I remember watching video of when he was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. He acted like such a fool.

September 27th birthdays: Randy Bachman from Bachman-Turner Overdrive is 64; Meat Loaf is 56; Greg Han from Men At Work is 54; Stephan Jenkings from Third Eye Blind is 43; Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down is 29;

OJ can't be tried again for the SAME crime, because the jury reached a verdict. But Spector can because the jury failed to reach a verdict.

If Spector plays his cards right he may die of old age before the next trial begins.
