1947 Cozy Powell, who drummed for several acts including Rainbow and Whitesnake, was born in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England. Powell died in 1998
2005 Pearl Jam win a legal battle over the rights to the domain name pearljams.com. The band filed a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum saying the site's domain holder, Vertical Axis Inc., was using it to link to commercial sites that were unrelated to Pearl Jam.
