2005 An arrest warrant is issued for Kid Rock after he allegedly punched a DJ at a strip bar. Rock turns himself in to Nashville police and is charged with misdemeanor simple assault and released after posting a $3,000 bond
2006 Elton John wins a libel case he filed against London's Sunday Times newspaper over an article it ran claiming that he exhibited rude behavior at an '05 charity ball
2007 Ian Astbury leaves Riders On The Storm, the band formed by Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger
2013  Tony Sheridan, who recorded with the Beatles in 1961, died in Hamburg, Germany.  Sheridan was 72
