January 13

THE ALBUM OF THE DAY
ROBERT PLANT...Sixty Six To Timbuktu (2003)
(CD, Allmusic review)
What a great listen this was. It's a 2 disc set, with disc 1 being Plant's hits and strong album cuts from his first 8 solo albums. Disc 2 is rarities with some tracks that were recorded before he was a member of Led Zeppelin, going back to 1966...thus the name Sixty Six To Timbuktu. What I found unbelievable is that this set only made it to number 134 on the US Billboard album charts. I thoroughly enjoyed both discs and I recommend you give it a listen
