THE ALBUM OF THE DAY
PAUL McCARTNEY AND WINGS...Wings At The Speed Of Sound (1976)
(CD, vinyl, Allmusic review)

This was Paul McCartney's 5th number 1 album since leaving the Beatles in 1970. Paul was having a great career with his band Wings, and all he was doing was singing "Silly Love Songs", which was his 5th number 1 single as a solo artist (or with Wings). But what's wrong with that? Nothing, as this album is a great listen. It also includes the number 3 single "Let 'Em In". Other highlights: "The Note You never Wrote", the rocker "Beware My Love" (it jams, folks!) and "Time To Hide". If you're a McCartney/Beatles/pop rock/70's fan you will enjoy this record. It is highly recommended. The CD has 3 extra tracks
